This piece was written for the artist residency Compolab of ensembles Ars Nova y Proxima Centauri at the Royal Abbey of Saint Jean d'Angély in France.
I am very grateful to Ana Lara and Jean-Paul Bernard for the invitation to participate in this project, which provided the opportunity to spend a week working with excellent musicians in a beautiful and quiet place, while also sharing music and ideas with composer Martín Matalón, who advised us during the residency, and with the other composers invited to this project: Vladimir Aranda, Manon Lepauvre, Il-Woong Seo, Augustin Braud and Nicolas Marty.
