Pretexto was made with the financial  support of Mexico’s National Fund for Culture and the Arts through its “Jóvenes Creadores 2014-2015” Grant. The piece was written for a collaboration between the Badische Staatskapelle‘s new music concert series  Nachtklänge and the HfM Karlsruhe.
